Method
of preparation
1_ Heat the oil in a pan and add ginger & garlic paste.
2_ Sauté until golden -brown. Add a little water, turmeric,
coriander, cumin and chili powders.
3_ Stir for 30 seconds and add the fried onion paste, salt,
4 cups of water.
4_ Let this boil on medium heat for 30 minutes.
5_ Add garam masala and kastoori methi.
6_ Adjust the seasoning and let it cool. This basic curry can
be stored for one week. Cool to room temperature and refrigerate
properly. |
