Chai

Ingredients

4 c. water
1 t. fresh grated ginger
1 t. ground green cardamom
1/3 c. milk
3-4 regular tea or 2 t. tea leaves
Sugar to taste

Method of preparation

Boil water with ginger. When water comes to a boil, add tea bags or tea leaves and continue boiling for 1-2 minutes. Add milk and sugar and bring to a boil again. Remove from heat, add cardamom. Cover for 1 minute, stir and serve.
