Method
of preparation
Wash the rice. Put milk and rice in a heavy-bottomed pot and
bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring continuously. Lower
heat and cook for 1 – 1 ½ hours, stirring frequently.
The rice should be cooked and of medium –thick consistency.
Mix in sugar and cook for another 10 minutes, stirring continuously.
Add almonds and cardamom. Serve hot or cold. |
