Aloo Tikki

Ingredients

½ lb. boiled potatoes
2 t. boiled yellow lentils
1 t. chopped ginger
1 t. chopped green chilies
1 t. crushed anardana (optional)
½ t. chaat masala
½ t. roasted cumin
½ t. red chili powder
½ t. green cilantro leaves
Salt to taste
Corn flour (optional)
oil for hallow frying

Method of preparation

Mash the potatoes. Drain the water from the lentils completely and add them to the potatoes. Mix in the ginger, chilies, cumin, anardana, chaat masala, chili powder, cilantro, and salt. Form round flat patties and coat them with corn flour. Fry in a pan or grill on a flat grill. Serve with mint and sweet chutnies.
